The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas ("Dallas Fed") has invited delegates attending the 2018 Banknote Conference to register for a tour of their Dallas, Texas facility. Registered delegates may join this tour free of charge.

As the nation’s central bank, the Federal Reserve issues and processes Federal Reserve notes and distributes coin through financial institutions. The Dallas Fed, head office for the 11th Federal Reserve District that serves all of Texas, northern Louisiana, and southern New Mexico, has graciously offered a tour of their Cash operation. Delegates who participate in the tour will see the Fed prepare and release currency to armored carrier companies on behalf of depository institutions, receive and store currency deposits in a multi-level, automated vault, and verify each note on sophisticated processing equipment that counts, identifies suspect counterfeit notes, and destroys unfit notes.

Total tour time is approximately 1.5 hours including travel time. Please consider this timing when planning your travel home.
Three tour times are available with buses departing the hotel every hour beginning at 1:30pm.

Tour 1    1:30pm-3:00pm

Tour 2    2:30pm-4:00pm

Tour 3.   3:30pm-5:00pm
