The Summit will be held immediately following the close of the Banknote Conference so please remember to account for this schedule when arranging your travel.
Attendance is restricted to delegates from state-run printers, affording you an environment to discuss freely the topics and issues faced by you and your industry peers. The three-hour program will feature two discussion sessions:
The cash cycle is changing as notes are lasting longer, note recycling is moving further downstream to retailers, and digital payments are replacing cash in some markets. We will discuss cash cycle changes and the emerging electronic payment trends. Following the presentations, we will lead an interactive discussion about how these changes might affect – or are affecting – the industry (print order volumes specifically) and how to plan strategically.
State printers face many common issues. Topics for consideration include: wiper performance, roller types, plate making processes, designing for production, dealing effectively with your customer, and managing suppliers. We will solicit the topics of most interest from registered delegates and plan round table discussions aimed at sharing best practices and common issues. This is the ideal forum to learn from and share with your peers from around the world.
You must be a delegate at the Banknote Conference in order to participate. You must register for the Summit during when you register for Banknote 2018.
